שתי הנכדות של רפי ורדי (גול) האפגני מקיבוץ דליה, הבנות ליאור ונועה בן דוד משחקות בקבוצת "הפועל יוקנעם ". ליאור היא קפטן נבחרת הנערות של ישראל ומשחקת גם בנבחרת הנשים.
לאחרונה התקיים משחק על גביע המדינה בין הפועל פ"ת והפועל יוקנעם וקבוצתן "הפועל יוקנעם" זכתה בגביע המדינה .
